Hello everyone, this past weekend a $1.00 trail fee was implemented by the city to use the trails. There are some pending questions however. At this time there is no indication whether or not that money is going back to serve the trails.
We at the club feel that if there is going to be an added fee then it should be invested into creating better trails and facilities for everyone. We ask your assistance with this matter, please contact your local commissioners and the City of Miami parks department and ask where this money is going.
Another thing you should ask for is a yearly/monthly pass option. We have been asking the city for over a year for this and without your assistance it will not happen.

Now the important thing is to not be a jerk, remember he is in charge of our park. Please be polite and ask about the park fees, ask how much of it is going to the trails. Also please ask about a yearly pass option. If we are united and not rant crazy we can get a lot done.
The things that make sense are the standard 6 dollar car fee no matter how many bikes in the car, and a 1 dollar per person riding in on their bike. It is similar to the pricing scheme that Oleta has.
