100% of the trails are built by volunteers and members.
Your membership dollars support that effort. We are a 501 c3 non profit organization.
As of April 2023, volunteers have contributed over 50,000 hours of their time. Even at just $10 an hour, it’s easy to see who’s doing the work. Your membership money helps provide tools, building materials, food, and refreshments for these volunteers
We are active in the community, in addition to trail maintenance the club also actively promotes mountain biking. We love it when new people try our sport and trails. To help this we sponsor events such as Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day, Christmas Charity Drive, Ladies Rides, and more!
The club communicates with the city, county and state government to ensure that VK continues to grow in size, interest and safety.
