Well we were at it again this weekend, we made some modifications to the BMX/MTB trail and Yellow Brick is yellow again!
We had a showing of 13 lucky volunteers who were provided with free food and BEvERages, courtesy of the club. If you were there thank you for coming out and helping! For those of you who did not come out you missed a hell of a time.
We had another major donation of equipment by Campos Construction and most importantly an operator who was able to use the Front Loader/Backhoe like a champ. Two big additions were added to the BMX course. Also major earthmoving was completed at a new trail that will hopefully be opened by the end of December if not earlier.
Other work done this session includes the repainting of Yellow Brick road and some major fallen tree removal.
And last but not least a trail map and information kiosk was added at the parking/picnic area. Kiosk was donated by Mack Cycle and Fitness.
As a small teaser, a select few volunteers will be working on something very special to come in the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more info.
As always here are some pictures of the work from this past weekend.
Heavy Equipment and Operator provided free of charge By Campos Construction!
Entrance to our new trail, it’s much easier to move tons of dirt when a machine does it for you. Would of taken us a year to get this started!
Moar!!!
