This was a monumental berm building weekend. The loyal volunteers carted about 2 tons of dirt in 98 degree weather without a single complaint. Water and refreshments were provided by the club, while a delicious churasco steak was provided by our good friend and trail work sponsor Elio from Crank-Life.com .
We were able to complete 2 new berms in “Enter Sandman.” The trail should now flow much faster and from what everyone says they are even more fun now than in the past.
Other trail improvements include a massive cutback in Learning to Fly to make sure that all the kiddies and new bikers have wide open lines. With that in mind please do not cut trail… no one likes a cheater…
Also a new wooden expert only feature was added to Smoke on the Water, it is not on the main line, please ride within your limits and make sure that you walk anything that you are not sure about.
Another feature was started and many of you have seen the pictures on Face Book but it is not yet done, this will be done in the next couple of weeks. Please do not disturb any unfinished work you may see out on the trail.
A big thank you goes out to all of the volunteers that came out to help it was a ton of hard work and you all performed superbly. We also want to thank www.Crank-Life.com for donating lunch as well as some BEvERages…
